“Underdogs deserve a sports doc and Contenders is that sports doc.”
&
“A good doc about good kids coached by good coaches who actually care about these good kids.”
– Richard Propes, The Independent Critic
Contenders tells the underdog story of the Fall Mountain Regional High School football team. Beginning in their earliest days and following the team through the 2024 season, the documentary tells the history of the program, their ups and downs, and their turnaround when an alumnus and former player takes over as head coach in 2017.
Contenders is currently out to film festivals now. You can keep up to date with any news at our Instagram page.
